Carlos A. Gómez Vega received the M.S. in electronic engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, México, in 2020.
Since 2020, he has been a research assistant in the Wireless Communication and Localization Networks Laboratory at the University of Ferrara, where he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree. From August 2019 to January 2020, he was a visiting student in the Wireless Information and Networks Sciences Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His current research topics include reinforcement learning and optimization for network localization and navigation.
Mr. Gómez Vega received the Best Paper Award from the IEEE LATINCOM in 2019. He served as a reviewer for different IEEE journals and international conferences.
